Professional Backstory
Getting his first desktop PC computer way back in 1998/1999 and using what was at the time a very, very, very slow 56k dial up internet connection, Craig became absolutely fascinated with the internet, the gateway it opened up to a new world and was blown away by the idea that one day we would be able to buy and sell products online.
Starting off designing little 1–2-page websites around the time of the dot com crash, Craig dedicated his early teen years to marketing fan sites and gaining a good understanding of what made a website grow and how to build fully engaged online communities.
Craig then founded ALT Agency in 2006 which has grown from a micro-WordPress development agency to a team of 17 working with household names, billion-dollar entrepreneurs and expanding from just website design & development into the demand generation areas of digital marketing, SEO, Paid Media and digital PR.
Diagnosed with autism at the age of 36, a condition that has allowed Craig to excel at coding, understanding data, spreadsheets and numbers, combined with a life standing passion for business and entrepreneurship, Craig then started Taking Off Investments which has allowed him to pursue his passion for investing and helping new entrepreneurs get their ideas off the ground with initial seed funding.
